Goalie Declan Hobbs to Join Chiefs This Weekend

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Chiefs announced on Friday that goaltender Declan Hobbs would be joining the team as an Affiliated Player.

Hobbs, 19, was acquired by the Chiefs in a trade with the Kootenay ICE in June. He appeared in three games with the Chiefs during the 2017 WHL Preseason, posting a 3.37 GAA and .910 SV%. In 13 games with the Nipawin Hawks of the SJHL this season, he has a 2.07 GAA and .920 SV%.

Spokane hosts the Kelowna Rockets at Spokane Arena on Friday night before heading to Kennewick to take on the Tri-City Americans on Saturday.
