Chiefs Acquire Conditional Draft Pick For Rights To Jubenvill

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Chiefs announced today that they have acquired a conditional fourth round pick in the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft from the Regina Pats in exchange for the rights to 1999-born defenseman Tyler Jubenvill.

Jubenvill, a 5-foot-10, 181-pound blueliner from Gilbert Plains, Manitoba, was originally selected by the Chiefs in the ninth round of the 2014 WHL Bantam Draft. He scored four goals and 25 assists in 57 games with the Winkler Flyers of the Manitoba Junior Hockey League last season.

The Chiefs open their regular season schedule on the road against the Tri-City Americans on Saturday at 7 p.m. Fans can catch the first live radio broadcast of the year on 1510 KGA NW Sports Talk beginning with the pre-game show at 6:30.
