Chiefs To Broadcast Ten Games On SWX

SPOKANE, Wash. – The Spokane Chiefs, in partnership with KHQ-6 and SWX-6.2, have announced their 2016-17 regular season television broadcast schedule. The Chiefs will once again broadcast ten games this season, beginning with their home contest against the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday, October 15.

In the Spokane region, games will be shown live on SWX, sister station to NBC KHQ-6. SWX is available on over-the-air channel 6.2 and Comcast channel 112 (HD), as well as Comcast channel 306 (SD).

The 10-game broadcast schedule includes six home games and four on the road. Opponents in televised matchups include the rival Tri-City Americans (6), U.S. Division foe Portland Winterhawks (2), nearby Kootenay Ice (1) and Kamloops Blazers (1).

The Chiefs continue their preseason schedule this week with two games versus the Tri-City Americans; on the road on Friday, Sept. 16 (7:05 p.m.) and at home on Saturday, Sept. 17 (2 p.m.). Tickets for Saturday’s home game at Spokane Arena are just $10 for general admission seats and available now online and via the Chiefs’ Ticket Office at 509-535-PUCK.

The Spokane Chiefs open the 2016-17 regular season on the road on September 24 before kicking off the home schedule with Bud Light Opening Night & Pre-Game Party on Saturday, October 1 versus the Tri-City Americans at Spokane Arena.
