Hockey Canada has returned defenseman Brenden Kichton to the Spokane Chiefs.  Kichton was one of seven players released by Team Canada.  The 19-year-old had attended their Selection Camp and missed last Saturday’s game versus the Prince George Cougars.  Kichton is expected to arrive in Spokane on Tuesday afternoon and will be available for three games in four nights this week.

A four year veteran, Kichton is currently second on the Chiefs in scoring with 29 points, which includes a team high 23 assists.
The Chiefs will play a home-and-home with the Everett Silvertips on Wednesday, in Spokane, and Friday.  Spokane will then host the Portland Winterhawks on Saturday night at 7:00 in their final game before a nine day holiday break.
