Three Chiefs Prospects Listed by Saskatchewan Hockey Association
Three more Spokane Chiefs prospects are set to receive a shot at participating in the 2019 Canada Winter Games as F Blake Swetlikoff, F Logan Cox, and D Chase Friedt-Mohr have been shortlisted by the Saskatchewan Hockey Association.
Swetlikoff spent the 2017-18 season with Regina Monarchs Bantam AA where he averaged just over a goal per game (1.03) and finished second on his team in scoring with 72 points (32G-40G) in 31 games as a 15-year-old. Cox totaled 57 points (19G-38A) with Prince Albert Raiders Bantam AA last season en route to being selected by the Chiefs in the fourth round (83rd overall) of the 2018 draft.
Freidt-Mohr, out of Prince Albert, was teammates with Cox last season on the Raiders and contributed 23 points (6G-17A) in 31 games played. Spokane used their fifth-round selection (105th overall) on the 5-foot-10 defenseman.
