Wednesday, Oct 03, 2012The Chiefs will host the Victoria Royals in their first of four meetings this season on Friday night's Magnet Schedule Giveaway presented by The Black Book by Hagadone Directories. The first 3,000 fans through the gates, and all full season ticket holders in attendance, will receive a magnet schedule courtesy of The Black Book by Hagadone Directories.
The Chiefs enter the weekend with a 2-1-0-0 record including a win in their only home game, a 5-3 decision over the Tri-City Americans last Saturday night.

Friday is also the first Fred Meyer Family Pack night of the season. Chiefs fans can show their Fred Meyer rewards card at the Chiefs ticket office and receive a ticket, hot dog and Coca-Cola product for each family member at a discounted price.
The Chiefs finished 4-0 versus Victoria last season and outscored the Royals 22-9 in the series. On average, the Chiefs outshot Victoria 31.8-23.4. Spokane scored three shorthanded goals, including two in one game by Liam Stewart on February 29th on the road. Brenden Kichton and Mike Aviani had one goal and five points. Stewart and Mitch Holmberg had three goals in the series.
Spokane will host the Royals again on February 10th and travel for back-to-back games on March 1st and 2nd in Victoria.
