Career

Liam Stewart’s 2013-2014 season was his third season with the Chiefs, and a season in which he posted career high in assists and total points. In only 43 regular season games Stewart notched his career high 28 total points, which included 7 goals and  his career high 21 assists.  

Liam Stewart scored 11 goals and 14 assists in 71 games during the 2012-13 season, including a two-goal night against Tri-City on November 24th. He scored goals on back-to-back nights three times during the season.

Stewart was named the Spokane Chiefs Rookie of the Year in 2011-12 after scoring 14 goals and 26 points in 66 games. He was also a +8 for the year. Stewart scored the game-winning goal in OT of Game Six of the Western Conference Semi-Finals versus Tri-City, forcing a game seven. His first career regular season goal came in a 3-2 win over Everett on October 22nd, 2011. Stewart scored two shorthanded goals on February 29th in a 6-1 win over the Victoria Royals. It was his first career two-goal game. Stewart led all WHL rookies with four shorthanded goals in 2011-12. The Hermosa Beach, CA native was originally added to the Chiefs 50-player protected list in September, 2009. In 34 games with the LA Jr. Kings in 2010-11, Stewart scored 24 goals and 37 points.
