Eric Williams was acquired in a trade in December, 2011 with the Prince Albert Raiders. As a Chief, Williams went 8-6-3-0 in 18 regular season appearances. Williams finished the post-season with the league’s third best goals against average at 2.22. He won his first five playoff starts and had a .927 post season save percentage. In 86 career regular season appearances, Williams has 33 career wins. He spent his first season in the WHL in 2010-11 with Prince Albert. He made 29 saves in a 4-0 shutout win over Calgary on February 15th, 2011 for his first career shutout. Williams finished his rookie year with a 17-17-1-1 record, ending the year with the third most wins by a rookie goaltender. Williams was Prince Albert's fourth round selection in the 2008 WHL Bantam Draft.
