This year with the Cougars’ midget AAA team, he has recorded three goals and two assists for five points in 15 games played.

Lane joins Graham Sward (BC), Owen MacNeil (AB), Logan Cox (SK) and Blake Swetlikoff (SK) as Chiefs prospects set to compete in the 2019 Canada Winter Games. The event will take place in Red Deer, Alta. from Feb. 14-27, with the hockey tournament beginning Feb. 16.

Current Chiefs Jaret Anderson-Dolan and Ty Smith were among the representatives at the last Canada Winter Games in 2015.
