Spokane, Wash. — The Spokane Chiefs announced on Wednesday that 2003-born goaltender Mason Beaupit has been added to the club’s active roster.
Beaupit, who was selected by the Chiefs in the fourth round of the 2018 WHL Bantam Draft, began the 2019-20 season with the Valley West Giants of the BCMML, posting a 2.83 GAA in four appearances. He played in two preseason games with the Chiefs earlier this year, making 32 saves on 36 shots faced in a combined 63 minutes.
The Surrey, B.C. native joins Los Angeles Kings prospect Lukas Parik and 17-year-old Campbell Arnold in the goalie ranks for Spokane. Parik is listed on the WHL Weekly Report as day-to-day with a lower body injury.
The Chiefs take on the Prince George Cougars this Friday, October 11. It will be the Winter Warmth Clothing Drive as fans can purchase tickets to the night’s game for just $6 when they bring a new or gently used cold-weather clothing donation to the game. Those who already have a ticket to the game are eligible to receive a $5 coupon to the Chiefs Team Store in exchange for their donation.
Tickets for Friday and all Chiefs home games are available online at spokanechiefs.com and via the Chiefs’ Ticket Office, over the phone at 509-535-PUCK or in-person at Spokane Arena.
