Long-time Chiefs scout Byron Bonora joins Hockey Canada U-17

Long-time Spokane Chiefs bantam scout Byron Bonora has joined the hockey operations team at Hockey Canada as their head scout of the Under-17 program. Bonora had been with the organization since the 2014-15 season. Prior to his first season in Spokane, he was an associate coach for the Airdrie-Cochrane Avalanche Minor Midget AAA team (Alberta Elite Hockey League).

“I feel very fortunate and excited to help our national junior teams continue their success,” Bonora said in a Tweet on Monday.

Congratulations Byron!
