SPOKANE, Wash. — From Wednesday, November 20 through Saturday, December 7, Chiefs fans are encouraged to bring their packaged and unwrapped toy donations to Spokane Chiefs home games to donate to Toys for Tots, providing local children with gifts for the holidays. Active Marines will be present to receive toy donations inside the main gates to the Arena.
While Toys for Tots Coordinators organize, coordinate and manage the campaign, the ultimate success depends on the support of the local community and the generosity of the people who donate toys.
Toys for Tots will be collecting toys at the following Chiefs home games:
- Wednesday, November 20 vs. Saskatoon
- Saturday, November 23 vs. Winnipeg
- Friday, November 29 vs. Vancouver
- Saturday, November 30 vs. Victoria
- Tuesday, December 3 vs. Seattle
- Saturday, December 7 vs. Tri-City
Fans are also welcome to donate to Toys for Tots at the Chiefs’ Ticket Office during regular business hours.
The mission of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Foundation is to collect new, unwrapped toys during October, November and December each year. The toys are distributed as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children in the Spokane community.
Spokane’s next home game is Wednesday, Nov. 20 versus Saskatoon. It will be TicketsWest Player Magnet Giveaway Night with the first 1,000 fans through the gates receiving a refrigerator magnet featuring a Chiefs player.
Tickets to all Chiefs home games are available in-person at the Chiefs’ Ticket Office, over the phone at 509-535-PUCK and online at spokanechiefs.com.
