Chiefs forwards Kailer Yamamoto and Jaret Anderson-Dolan are two of just 103 top NHL Entry Draft prospects participating (22 from the WHL) in this week’s NHL Combine in Buffalo, N.Y. After interviews with NHL clubs throughout the week, they will take part in off-ice testing Saturday morning, beginning with Anderson-Dolan’s group at 6:30 a.m. PT (9:30 a.m. in Buffalo). Yamamoto’s group will begin testing one hour later, at 7:30 a.m. PT.
Players at the combine participate in various physical trials such as bench press, long jump, agility drills and VO2 max bicycle testing. Each group includes 12 prospects competing to impress scouts ahead of the NHL Entry Draft in Chicago on June 23-24.
