Jaret Anderson-Dolan Signs ELC with Los Angeles Kings

The Los Angeles Kings have signed forward Jaret Anderson-Dolan to a three-year entry-level contract, Kings Vice President and General Manager Rob Blake announced on Sept. 25.

The 18-year-old Anderson-Dolan (born on Aug. 12, 1999) is a 5-11, 191-pound native of Calgary, Alberta, who has appeared in 142 career regular-season games with Spokane, totaling 102 points (53 goals, 49 assists) and 43 penalty minutes. In seven postseason games, he has recorded three points (1 goal, 2 assists), a plus-1 rating and two penalty minutes.

second-round (41st overall) selection of the Kings at the 2017 NHL Draft, Anderson-Dolan totaled 76 points (39 goals, 37 assists), a plus-4 rating and 22 penalty minutes in 72 games last season with Spokane. Among Chiefs forwards, he ranked first in power play goals (14; tied for 12th in the league), second in goals, points and game-winning goals (6), and fourth in assists.

Internationally, Anderson-Dolan appeared in the U-18 World Junior Hockey Championships, serving as the Captain of Team Canada in 2017. He went scoreless with four penalty minutes in five games.

Anderson-Dolan scored a goal on his 18th birthday during the Kings Rookie Game against the Vegas Golden Knights. He is expected to rejoin the Chiefs for the 2017-18 regular season.
