Kennewick, Wash. —  The Spokane Chiefs lost a tough 3-1 game to the Tri-City Americans Saturday night as Beck Warm was brilliant in net for the Americans.

Tri-City was able to answer at the 6:45 mark of the second period when Sasha Mutala connected just following a successful Spokane penalty kill. The Americans scored again to make it 2-1 at 17:09 when Riley Sawchuk picked up the marker for Tri-City. The Chiefs were held scoreless on each of their 12 shots of the period and trailed by one entering the final period.

The Chiefs poured shots on net in the third, but couldn’t chip away at the Americans’ lead as the Ams went on to win 3-1.
